”Smiing” spotted by locals at Didube market; Tbilisi, Georgia / 2018
I am Smi and I like Smiing. Below you can find my horrible third-person-written BIO, that they consider to be #useful. Otherwise, read this.
Smirna Kulenović (Bosnia and Herzegovina) is a young anarchist-oriented interdisciplinary artist, activist and curator working in a wide range of media; from conceptual art, performance art, sound art, film and text -- to guerilla activism and direct actions/interventions within the public space.
She is the founder and artistic coordinator of the Collective for the direct liberation of public spaces Dobre Kote in Sarajevo (BiH) and the international Nomadic Collective for Performing Spontanoues Action TAZ 22 (Bosnia, Brazil, Italy, France, Portugal).
In her work she deals with the critical questioning of the global absurd political situation and rise of right-wing politics, to which she offers post-capitalist forms of self-organization, united with a biodigital approach to technology. She is currently expanding her practice to the field of Artificial Intelligence, as well as micro-sensors and processors as a tool to create new audio-visual installations and series of works such as T.I.T.O. 3.0 in collaboration with Kings College London and University of Arts London.
Her works are currently exhibited all over Europe such as on the facades of Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb, Museum of Contemporary Art Skopje, Museum of History of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fuori Visioni Festival o Contemporary Art Italy, Royal Institute of Arts Stockholm, National Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zaratan Gallery Lisbon, Maineouvre Gallery Berlin, Atelier Concorde Paris…
